Beyond incorporates contrary motion with paradigms, and the shifting of emotions. It’s a coming to terms with my own dissatisfaction of my once current state. Twas actually written first hand in each paradigm. Beginning with ease and happiness, which soon turns into expectation, foreshadows a duality that plagues the entire album. Once this expectation is reached and at the same time becomes unattainable it is contrary motion and thus non-desirable. Indecision is a drag.
